International Water Stewardship Standards:
Update

London, 28th April 2010

International Water Stewardship Standards: Update

ABOUT AWS

The Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) was formed by The Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF), The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and other leading organisations to develop international water stewardship standards and to create a program to recognise and reward corporate water users who demonstrate their commitment by meeting those standards.

In 2010 the AWS will be launching the Global Water Roundtable as the multistakeholder platform for the development of its international water stewardship standards.

International Water Stewardship Standards: Update

Provide an up to-the-minute briefing on the Alliance, its development plan, the business plan for stewardship, and standards development process.

As a Delegates, you will be updated with key information to help support your corporate water strategy  and be informed on the emerging concept of water stewardship and international water stewardship standards.

Session Objectives

  1. Update on the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) and the AWS Global Water Roundtable
